Baseball Season is Here

'Tis the season . . . the baseball season, that is. Here's a look at the New York Mets' new whiz-kid prospect, second baseman Ruben Tejada. The kid is only 19-years-old but can turn the double-play (as seen here) with duende. He performs his high-flying act for the Binghamton Mets of the Eastern League these days, but it's just a matter of time until he brings excitement to the Big Apple.

The Crowley Collection has images of other minor league baseball teams as well as major league franchises such as the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles.

Royal County Down Golf Club

The links at Royal County Down GC in Newcastle are what golf in Ireland is all about. This course has hosted every major Irish championship, and that's no surprise. It's challenging for the players and absolutely stunning for the patrons. The sea, the Mourne Mountains, and the quaint town of Newcastle make a day in this part of the world truly memorable.

Australian Golf Courses

I have just returned from a hugely successful photo shoot of the golf courses around Melbourne, Australia. This is one golf-mad area, and it should be with the famous courses of the Sandbelt region laying just south of the city. Royal Melbourne, Yarra Yarra, Commonwealth, Kingston Heath, and the Metropolitan golf clubs are all truly sensational.

Venturing a bit further south along the Mornington Peninsula is The Dunes (seen here), which is one of golf's--but not Australia's--hidden gems. The rugged landscape is reminiscent of the famous links of Great Britain and Ireland and therefore appropriately challenging and justly popular.
